The Nice Philosophy We at Nice believe that the successful
development of our plastics is rooted in the constant testing of our
designs in a busy indoor rock climbing wall environment. Nice is made up of
climbers and route-setters, and we design and make our holds to be usable and friendly, to get
climbers and route-setters just like us psyched for their next session. | Who carves Nice Climbing Holds? All of our climbing holds are carved by experienced route setters, who have set hundreds of routes using thousands of holds from many different companies. We have put a major effort into designing a comprehensive line of finger-friendly shapes, so you can train longer and harder on every style of hold.
|
How long has Nice been around? Nice
began experimenting with the black art of climbing hold production back
in 1997. Things have come a long way since our crude first mixes and
shapes. Over time we've managed to produce a comprehensive line of
climbing holds that are widely used in the urban cliff scene, across
North America and around the globe.
| What is your texture like? Lightly
textured as opposed to a more "plastic" feel, our DEEP PORE SURFACE
helps maintain the climbing holds feel over time. It cuts down on chalk
build-up and that greasy feeling: a real plus for high traffic
environments. Want a "softer" feel? Gently rub the surface with a
low-grit sanding sponge. Careful not to sand too much; once the
texture is gone, it's gone!
|
What kind of warranty does Nice Climbing offer? Replacement
on any broken holds for 1 year (excluding footchips). You have 60 days
to send back ANY holds you're unsatisfied with for replacement. Hate
'em all? Send the entire order back within 15 days for a full refund
on the holds, shipping not included.
| Does Nice offer a non-slip backing on your holds? No,
during the development of each shape, Nice holds are designed to
minimize leverage, and we cut down "spinner" potential through
strategic bolt placement to properly and evenly distribute the force of the bolt on each hold.
|
Weight One of the most frequent comments on or holds is how LIGHT they are, a route setters dream. You'll also save on shipping charges, which means more plastic for your dollar!
| Custom colours? Nice generally ships holds in mixed colours, but if you have specific needs, email sales@niceclimbing.com and we will do our best to accomodate you.
